Are you looking for events in Pennsylvania to attend this December?

Pennsylvania is a magical place in December thanks to the spectacular parades, bright sparkling lights, wintery thrills, and exciting train rides that herald the holiday season.  If you’re in the state in December, here are the top three must-attend events.

1. Christmas Magic-Dutch Country Roads in York, PA

Held in York from November 24 to the end of December (closed on December 14 and 25), this event is a display of over 600,000 lights and animation. The Wall Street Journal refers to Christmas Magic as one of the top 13 events in the U.S. and The Philadelphia Inquirer states that it is a top 10 holiday event in Pennsylvania.  

 

2.   Holidays With Heart and Animal Friends in Pittsburgh, PA

If you’re creative and love handmade goods, why not attend the craft fair at Animal Friends? Crafters and local vendors offer a wide variety of handicrafts, jewelry, pottery, and other unique items! Have fun supporting Animal Friends and local artisans this holiday season.This annual event takes place on the first Saturday and Sunday in December. This year the event will be held on December 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 4p.m.

3. Winter Fest and Tree Lighting at the Dansbury Depot

This annual event in East Stroudsburg will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the Tree Lighting ceremony taking place at 5:30 p.m.

 

People of all ages are welcome to take part in this delightful event. At noon and 2 p.m. enjoy a ride on a Santa Train with dinner served on the 4 p.m. train.
