Spring Mountain Ski Area
Known to many as Spring Mountain Adventures, this ski area is a year-round attraction. The ski season just opened and conditions are great for skiing, snow tubing, and snowboarding. Skiing and snowboarding lessons start at $60 and are available for first-timers and children ages six and up.
With multiple chairlifts and slopes for beginners, intermediates, and experts, a great ski experience awaits all skill levels at Spring Mountain. Tickets start at $20 and they offer full-service rentals.
Blue Knob
Blue Knob is the highest skiable mountain in Pennsylvania. That means more snow, more trails, and more fun. Don’t worry if you haven’t been skiing in forever. Blue Knob offers group and private lessons for all ages starting at just $30 and top of the line rentals are available.
With 34 trails and a vertical drop of over 1,000 feet, Blue Knob is a skier’s paradise. Skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing are all part of the adventure. Tickets start at just $30 and the mountain is open nights for skiing under the lights.
Want to make a weekend out of it? No problem! Blue Knob has accommodations available at their Alpine Village or they can recommend a nearby hotel. While you are there you can enjoy great food at their Clubhouse Bar and Grill and enjoy live entertainment every weekend, as well.
