Truck shoppers, rejoice! Toyota is set to release an all-new version of the Tundra, its popular pickup truck. This model is sure to impress, so check out what’s new and improved on the upcoming truck.

Full Exterior Redesign

The Tundra underwent a minor refresh in 2014, but the 2022 model is fully redesigned on the outside. The front end looks quite different from the outgoing model, showcasing distinct lighting elements and an oversized front grille. The TRD Pro trim level of this truck also features three amber running lights within the grille, which meet the legal requirement for vehicles measuring over 8 inches in width

Power and Performance

Although official details on the powertrain haven’t been released yet, experts expect the 2022 Tundra to include a twin-turbo V-6 engine that will produce over 400 horsepower. Toyota may also offer a hybrid powertrain on the Tundra to appeal to eco-conscious shoppers and those who want improved efficiency.

Off-Road Ready

Adventure-seekers will be happy to know that the TRD Pro trim level will be able to keep up with their needs. This off-road-oriented trim includes its own set of 18-inch wheels equipped with all-terrain tires, along with other features designed for those who want to tackle rough terrain.
