The rumor mill is in full swing with 2020 models all but released and 2021 models popping up on the horizon. One Toyota model that many are saying will get a big overhaul is the 2021 Toyota Tundra. Long-time fans of the Tundra and truck enthusiasts of all types will love what’s in store for the new Tundra. Here’s a quick peek at everything we know about the new Tundra.

It’s Time for a Refreshed Look

If one thing is for certain, it’s that a re-design is long overdue. The highly-acclaimed pickup has had several updates to power and performance features but hasn’t had a visual overhaul for over a decade. While no official look has been revealed, and actual photos of the truck have been disguised with camouflage, one can take clues from other recent Toyota revamps such as the Highlander. If so, we can look forward to a complex front grille design with sleek accents throughout the body.

Why Is 2021 the Perfect Time for an Overhaul

There’s no better time than this upcoming model release for the Tundra to receive a big update. While the truck has remained somewhat popular throughout the years, all one needs to do is compare it to leading trucks, such as the Silverado, to see why Toyota might spring a redesign on buyers. Just over 115,000 2018 Tundras were sold in the last year. Compare that to the over 600,000 Silverados and it’s clear some changes need to be made to stay competitive.

2021 could bring in a new Toyota Tundra model. Stay tuned for new updates and information.
