Are you looking for fresh spices, fruits, and vegetables to complement your next meal? Before you head for the kitchen, check out these farmers markets in the Hartfield-Lansdale area.

Lansdale Farmers’ Market

Stock up on your favorite fresh goods every Saturday when you visit the Lansdale Farmers’ Market. It runs from June through November at 645 W. Ninth St. The market offers a special half-hour time for seniors from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Everyone else is welcome from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. While you’re here, you can pick up your favorite fresh fruits and vegetables.

If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, you’ll find baked goods available as well as candy. Replenish your stock of jams, jellies, and hot sauces as you explore the stands. You can also find the perfect homemade decor to finish the look of your kitchen.

Quakertown Farmers Market

If you make the short trip north to Quakertown, you can enjoy the Quakertown Farmers Market year round on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The expansive market includes 120 vendors inside and 400 vendors outside selling seasonal fruits and vegetables. They also sell honey and other local items for your kitchen as well as fresh fish and meat. Don’t forget to explore the decor and antique shops, as well.

Bring your reusable shopping bags to each market so you have a place to keep your purchases. If it’s a warm day, consider keeping a cooler in your vehicle to keep things cool on the trip home.
