When you’re looking for a functional, capable, and stylish SUV, the Toyota 4Runner should be at the top of your list. It’s available in several well-equipped trim levels, making it easier to find a model that works for your needs.
Basic Trim Levels
The 4Runner comes in six trim levels. At the start of the list, you’ll find the SR5 and SR5 Premium. Standard features of the SR5 include fog lights, a power-operated liftgate, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, reclining and folding second-row seats, and an eight-speaker audio system with a 6.1-inch touch screen. The SR5 Premium adds heated side mirrors, heated front seats, faux leather upholstery, and navigation.
Off-Roading Models
If you plan to go off the beaten path in your 4Runner, check out the TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, or TRD Pro models. All three come standard with four-wheel drive and a low-range transfer case. You’ll also get wider wheels, a locking rear differential, crawl control, and selectable driving modes. The TRD Pro adds upgraded springs, dampers, and all-terrain tires.
Luxurious Extras
The Limited trim offers high-end features designed to improve the ride when you’re commuting or dropping kids off at school. It comes with a separate suspension system, dual-zone climate control, 20-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, and a premium 15-speaker JBL audio system.
The 2018 4Runner is a powerful option that combines a comfortable interior with plenty of rugged features. Take it for a test drive to figure out which trim level is best for your lifestyle.
