2018 Toyota Prius Prime Premium vs Advanced

2018 Toyota Prius Prime Premium vs Advanced

Toyota’s new advanced plug-in hybrid, the Prius Prime, is one of the most exciting and eco-friendly vehicles ever created.  There are three trim levels for the new 2018 Toyota Prius Prime. The Plus model is the standard Prius Prime, and it comes with everything you would expect from a new Toyota vehicle in addition to the rechargeable battery and hybrid engine. The most exciting versions of the Prius Prime are the Premium and Advanced models. While the starting prices for these two models are slightly higher, they provide incredible upgrades over the base model. But what’s the different between these two upgraded models? Find out which one is right for you below. The Premium version of the Prius Prime includes a few extra features over the Plus model. It features an 11.6 inch HD multimedia display so you barely have to take your eyes off the road to use it. In addition, the Premium model feature SofTex-trimmed heated front seats so you can ride in comfort throughout the cold PA winters. You will also enjoy Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging and a smart charging cable lock so you never have to worry about anything happening to your charging cable. There are more features available in the Premium model not covered here. All these features and more justify the price increase from an MSRP of $27,300 to an MSRP of $29,000. However, the real top-of-the-line plug-in hybrid comes in the Advanced model. The 2018 Toyota Prius Prime Advanced is Toyota’s most impressive and fully-loaded version of the Prius Prime. In addition to all the features of the Plus and Premium models, it includes some additions and upgrades. With the Advanced model you get a color head-up display, Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Intelligent Parking Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and integrated LED fog lights and LED accent lights. Also, you get an automated reverse sensing system and automated parking sensors. All these features help to keep you safer on the road and enhance your driving experience. Another feature that will enhance your driving safety and comfort are the variable intermittent rain detecting wipers. No longer will you have to manually adjust your windshield wipers as the frequency of rain changes. In addition to these driving features, there are also other features in the Advanced model that will enhance your enjoyment of the Prius Prime. The Advanced version of the Prius Prime comes with 10 JBL GreenEdge premium speakers, while the Premium version only comes with 6 premium speakers. The Advanced model is the obvious choice for audiophiles. The Advanced model also includes the Safety Connect emergency communication system as well as the HomeLink garage door transmitter. With all these additions, the Advanced model comes in at an MSRP of $33,300, only $4,300 more than the Premium model. It’s obvious that the preferred choice of Prius Prime model should be the Advanced model. It includes incredible safety and technology upgrades for only a small bump in MSRP. 2018 Toyota Camry vs 2018 Honda Accord

The 2018 Toyota Camry and the 2018 Honda Accord are two of the most popular cars in the midsize sedan class and they have both been redesigned for the 2018 model year. It can be difficult to choose between two vehicles with such a great reputation, but at Peruzzi Toyota we're here to help you make your decision. When these two vehicles go head to head, discover who comes out on top in the areas of price, reliability, interior quality, fuel economy, and more. Price When it comes to price, the 2018 Toyota Camry and the 2018 Honda Accord are nearly neck and neck. The Honda Accord starts at $23,570 and the 2018 Toyota Camry starts at $23,495. Since these two vehicles are the most popular midsize sedans it's no surprise that their MSRP prices should fall within a few hundred dollars of each other. The slight edge in the price category goes to the 2018 Camry. Reliability Based on J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), U.S. News and World Report awarded the 2018 Honda Accord 4/5 and the 2018 Toyota Camry 4.5/5 in the category of reliability. Both vehicles have been redesigned for the 2018 model year so these are the first scores available to these designs. Both vehicles come with a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. While the warranties of the two vehicles are identical, the 2018 Camry gets the edge in reliability rating. Interior Features and Quality The interiors of the 2018 Camry and Accord have both been redesigned and both have seats that are comfortable and supportive. However, there are several interior features that put the 2018 Camry over the top. While both models come equipped with a 7-inch infotainment screen, only the screen int he Camry is a touchscreen. Additionally, the 2018 Camry comes with six speakers while the 2018 Accord only comes with four. The Camry also features voice recognition so that you can make changes to whatever you need while  keeping your attention focused on the road. Fuel Economy These two 2018 mid-size sedans are very close when it comes to fuel economy but once again, the Camry comes out ahead of the Accord. The Camry checks in at 29 mpg city and 41 mpg highway for a combined 34 mpg. The Accord gets 30 mpg city but only 38 mpg highway for a combined 33 mpg. While the 2018 Camry and 2018 Accord are both at the top of their model class, the 2018 Toyota Camry comes out on top in the four major categories of Price, Reliability, Interior, and Fuel Economy.
