We got our first glimpse at the Toyota RAV4 Adventure at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this month and the time has finally come for its release! In late September, the Adventure will release in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions. The RAV4 Adventure features a higher ride height and ground clearance and is perfect for towing. The available tow prep package includes an upgraded radiator and additional oil and transmission fluid coolers to make sure you don’t have any issues when hauling. The front-wheel-drive version can haul up to 2,900 pounds with the all-wheel-drive version being able to tow up to 3,500 pounds.
The Adventure version of the RAV4 doesn’t just stand out in the performance department. It includes eye-catching 18-inch black aluminum wheels, large fender flares, and special badges. it also comes with a roof rack and fog light surrounds. On the interior, the Adventure features all-weather floor and cargo mats and a leather shifting knob. the RAV4 Adventure also comes with a 120-volt cargo area power outlet so you an keep your devices charged when you go camping or on other adventures. The Adventure also has an optional cold weather package that comes with heated front fabric seats and a heated leather steering wheel. This is especially useful for those who love to go skiing or on other winter adventures.
The 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure will be available in five different colors: Black, Magentic Grey Metallic, Silver Sky Metallic, Super White, and Ruby Flare Pearl.
