The basic 2024 Prius model nets you 57 mpg combined, a huge leap from previous higher-end Prius models; that makes it the most efficient plug-in hybrid on the road. Also, the 2024 Toyota Prius now comes with all-wheel drive and a redesigned braking system that feels smoother switching between regenerative and friction braking.
On the interior, you’ll find plenty of head room versus earlier models. In the rear, the new model gives you more leg and shoulder room, and a little more cargo space. Naturally, essentials like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring are standard. And when it comes to safety, the 2024 Toyota Prius has been granted the sought-after Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s “Top Safety Pick+” rating.
