For six decades, the Toyota Land Cruiser has been a favorite vehicle for off-road adventurers. To celebrate its distinguished legacy, Toyota is introducing a special version for the 2020 model year, the Heritage Edition. Let’s take a look at what makes the 2020 Heritage Edition so unique.

Exterior

You’ll immediately notice some exterior differences between the 2020 Heritage Edition and other Land Cruiser models. While previous versions featured sidesteps, the Heritage Edition does not feature these, which means you get improved ground clearance. Also missing from the Heritage Edition are the Land Cruiser’s chrome side moldings. By excluding these moldings, the Heritage Edition has a sleeker look and improved aerodynamics.

While Toyota designers have removed some features from the Heritage Edition, they have also given it some exciting new additions. The SUV will come standard with a Yakima Megawarrior roof basket and bronze, 18-inch, forged aluminum wheels. Vintage Land Cruiser badging completes the look.

Interior

The 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition also includes some exciting interior updates. While previous Land Cruiser versions included a third-row of seating, the Toyota design team has removed the third row from the Heritage Edition. By excluding the third row, the Land Cruiser’s cargo volume increases from 16.1 cubic feet to 53.5 cubic feet. The Heritage Edition’s seating, steering wheel, and center console are upholstered in black leather with stylish bronze accents.

These are just some of the exciting features of the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. Consider taking a test drive so you can experience it for yourself.
