The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has proved to be a savvy pick for anyone looking to get the most out of every precious fuel dollar (and who isn’t these days?). While drivers have made the basic RAV4 Hybrid a hugely popular choice at Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield, PA, there are some variations on this compact SUV that we’d like to share. For starters, the RAV4 Hybrid XSE model.

While each RAV4 Hybrid boasts impressive interior space, the XSE goes a little further. Even with four passengers and a lot of gear, no one will ever feel cramped. The fold-down rear seats make it easy to load in bigger items, like bicycles for a weekend outdoor adventure. Plus, the seats can be folded down from either the second row or the cargo area; the wide tailgate makes loading and unloading a cinch.

The XSE, available at Peruzzi Toyota, boasts loads of standard features which make it a great value (even as a top-of-the line model). One that gets the regular thumbs-up from customers is the 8.0-inch touch screen, positioned nicely atop the dash where the driver’s sight line can easily pick it up.

On the outside, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE boasts a sleeker, sportier look than other trims. With standard two-tone paint, unique front and rear elements, 18-inch wheels, and special side-moldings, the XSE is pumped way up over other models.

That muscularity is further reflected in performance. From a stop, you’ll feel the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine kick in solidly, with 176 hp and 163 lb.-ft of torque. And of course, there’s the famous Toyota hybrid fuel-efficiency. With the RAV4 Hybrid XSE, expect 41/38/40 mpg city/highway/combined – which tops similar models in the segment. Response is quick and solid.

When all is said and done, upgrading to the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE will give you performance, roominess and style (both inside and out) on another level. Want to do a comparison? Come by Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield and we’ll be happy to show you around.

The Toyota brand has been making headlines with lots of bold new developments across their line. There’s been plenty of rumors and speculation surrounding the new version of the Toyota Tundra, and while we have some time until we see it, Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield, PA can share a little scuttlebutt that’s been floating around.

One of the biggest (possible) developments is that the Toyota Tundra will be losing its V8 engine. That engine has been a stalwart for years, providing impressive power especially when it comes to towing. However, the power has come at a bit of a cost regarding fuel efficiency. There’s new technology out there that can provide plenty of horsepower, and yet be stingy on the fuel costs. It’s expected that the Toyota Tundra will sign on to that.

Another bit of news out there is that the Tundra (which will be available at Peruzzi Toyota) may have either an electric or hybrid drivetrain. That’s something that’s been ever-more-prominent and popular among vehicle owners. Plus, Toyota did mention in an earlier press release that the company is pushing for more electrification across certain sectors of their truck line, so…

Now considering all these changes, you might be concerned that the Toyota Tundra’s reputation for power and towing capacity might be diminished, but you would be wrong. The evidence lies in the wheels. Currently, the Tundra wheel has 5-lug attached wheels, but leaked photos reveal a 6-lug attachment on the new model. Additional lugs indicate that the wheel will need additional strength, so from that, one can assume there’s more power driving that need.

While these rumors are exciting in and of themselves, the real excitement will come when the next generation Toyota Tundra is officially unveiled a little later this year. And the place to see it first will be Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield, PA.

You’ve probably gotten used to having your oil filter swapped out when your oil is changed. But what about your air filter? That’s one little piece of equipment that is often overlooked. Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield, PA, is all about ensuring that your vehicle is always running at peak efficiency, so here’s the skinny on the humble air filter (and why you should pay more attention to it.)

So just what role does the air filter play in your vehicle? First off, a free flow of air helps ignite the fuel and keep things rolling right along. Second, the air filter keeps dirt and debris from clogging up your engine. Sure, you can remove it yourself and bang out all the gunk, but over time, the filter just won’t be as effective. That’s why a fresh one is critical.

When the air filter isn’t working at peak performance, you’ll notice it in lowered fuel efficiency (which means more money spent at the gas pump). You’ll also likely experience sluggish acceleration, less power, and even stalling out.

And if that isn’t bad enough, a worn-out air filter will start to come apart. That means little bits of it can be sucked into your engine and cause damage. Face it — that will cost you a whole lot more than the cost of having it replaced on a regular basis.

Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield notes that the “when” of replacing your filter is dependent on a few things. Generally speaking, once a year is the standard, depending on your driving habits. However, if you drive longer distances (or on dusty or rough terrain), you’ll want to install a new one more frequently. At the very least, consider installing a fresh air filter every 20,000-30,000 miles to ensure the best possible performance from your Toyota vehicle.

The service experts at Peruzzi Toyota are always ready to check out your air filter situation and recommend the best course of action. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Toyota has long been a choice for truck lovers who want a vehicle that’s sturdy, comfortable and reliable. Many owners love to go off-roading, and the TRD Pro line has been a great pick. However, a brand-new lift kit is being offered that can take your standard Tacoma to another level – in an affordable way. Peruzzi Toyota of Hatfield, PA, is proud to share this exciting new product that gives budget-minded Tacoma drivers the ability to upgrade their vehicle.

The new Tacoma Lift Kit will make “off-roading” way more efficient and comfortable. The kit features new TRD-tuned Bilstein monotube shocks that provide about two more inches of lift in the front, and another inch in the rear. The result is more ground clearance, which will come in handy on some untested terrain.

These available new rear shocks are bigger than the standard shocks found on the typical Tacoma. That means additional oil volume which results in better damping response and heat dissipation.

This new lift kit is meant for Toyota Tacomas from the 2020 model year on, ones that are equipped with a V-6 engine and four-wheel drive. This individual upgrade is among the first being offered by Toyota to help budget-conscious drivers customize their vehicle without spending more on a pricier model.

And because the kit has been developed by Toyota, it doesn’t affect any of Tacoma’s current electric driver-assist features, due to its special upgraded sensor and camera bracket. Plus, the kit has the same quality warranty enjoyed by the Toyota TRD Pro line of vehicles.

This exciting, affordable lift kit for your Tacoma can be installed at Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield and comes in at about $1,350.00 (minus installation fees).

So, imagine the possibilities of taking your Toyota Tacoma to another level. Got questions? We’re here to answer them.
