2019 Toyota RAV4 Preview

For years, Toyota’s RAV4 has been among the best-selling models in the compact crossover SUV space.  Consumers have long appreciated its interior space, powerful towing ability – and most importantly, the modest price tag.  For 2019, Toyota is kicking it up a few notches with an exciting makeover.  Here’s what you can expect in the new model, available at Peruzzi Toyota in the fall.

Even though the Toyota RAV4 has always been top-rated in power, the 2019 model offers an additional 15 percent more horsepower.  A new eight-speed automatic transmission replaces the former six-speed, giving drivers more acceleration and power overall. For eco-conscious types, a hybrid version of the engine is also offered.

These new power options also include an available Adventure model, with a Multi-Terrain Select system that lets drivers take their Toyota RAV4 off-road and into tricky terrain including rocks, mud, snow and more.

The 2019 Toyota RAV4’s makeover includes a much quieter cabin, and a range of interior electronics including standard Apple CarPlay, 7-inch touchscreen, WiFi and access to Amazon’s Alexa system. Options include up to five USB ports, Qi wireless charging and JBL sound system with 11 speakers.

Other available options include ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, moonroof and power liftgate.

All models of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 come standard with the automaker’s top-rated safety features like a forward-collision warning, lane-detection warning, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

On the outside, the updated Toyota RAV4 has a more muscular look, that matches well with its upgraded off-road capabilities. Whether you’re looking for a super-sturdy family vehicle, one that can handle your weekend warrior duties – or both – the 2019 Toyota RAV4 has you covered. Summer is nearly here and temperatures are already up. As the weather improves, you can enjoy the outdoor seating at many restaurants. Here is a look at the two top outdoor dining restaurants in Hatfield.

Hattricks Sports Bar & Grill

Hattricks Sports Bar & Grill is one of the best places to eat out on the patio because of its atmosphere. It is located at 64 E. Lincoln Ave. Hattricks has a reputation for having some of the most entertaining bartenders, great food, and better drinks.  If you are an Eagles fan, you’ll be pleased to know that Hattricks serves free pizza during halftime. The patio is spacious and has plenty of seating as well. Hattricks Sports Bar & Grill is a non-smoking establishment.

Trolley Stop Deli

Another excellent place to check out is the Trolley Stop Deli. It is a small deli on E. Broad Street. The outdoor seating is a bit limited, but if you don’t mind standing, there is plenty of space to eat your sandwiches and other easy-to-hold foods. The deli has been open for more than 50 years and continues to be a favorite in the area for its wide assortment of food choices. You could easily stop in at lunch or dinner for a sandwich and enjoy the fresh air before heading back to work.

Toyota has a huge range of vehicles that cater to different lifestyles. No matter your needs or wants, Toyota has a vehicle that should meet what you’re looking for. It can be a little overwhelming at first, trying to decide which will work for you, so we’ve made this small guide to help you get started!

Family-Friendly

Toyota has plenty of family-friendly vehicles for families both big and small. The Sienna is Toyota’s minivan and is the most traditional family-friendly vehicle, with plenty of room for little ones as well as luggage. For bigger families, the Sequoia is super spacious and can come loaded with all the best tech.

Commuter Rides

Commuter rides should be sleek but practical, with clean handling and good gas mileage. The RAV4 handles beautifully but can also head out on the trails for the weekend. The Camry and the Avalon are more traditional sedans but their beautiful style lines and carefully crafted interior are plush and stylish enough for a truly envy-worthy ride. Looking for something a little roomier? The Highlander is one of the most popular crossover SUVs on the market and brings the space and style associated with its class.

Eco-Conscious

Toyota has an impressive number of hybrids available, including versions of the Camry, Avalon, RAV4, and Highlander. For a true hybrid experience, check out the phenomenally popular Prius line, which was one of the first hybrids to break into the U.S. market.

This guide should give you a good idea of where to start when you’re looking for your next Toyota.

Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid

In the market for an exciting midsize sedan? The Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid is exactly the ticket. You can see all the details for yourself at Peruzzi Toyota, but in the meantime, here’s a preview.

First off, the Camry XLE Hybrid has been completely redesigned for 2018 with a spacious, comfortable interior that sets it far apart from other midsize models. And don’t overlook the sportier exterior.

The hybrid’s battery has been relocated under the rear seat to make for more cargo room than other sedans. It also opens up more room for your passengers to stretch out, both in front and in the back.

Toyota’s redesign of the Camry XLE Hybrid includes a larger trunk than many other hybrids, plus substantially-improved performance. Expect more horsepower (208 versus the 200 of the 2017 model) and improved fuel economy (51 mpg city/53 hwy over the 42/38 of earlier models).

The 2018 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid features a serene, comfortable ride that stands out over cars of the same size. The driving experience has also been improved, with steering that’s exceptionally responsive and easy to handle, meaning less driver boredom and fatigue).

Plus, it includes a ton of advanced driver-assistance safety features, now standard, that were once only previously available in the higher trims. Expect pre-collision warning, adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning with steering assist.

All in all, the 2018 Toyota XLE Camry Hybrid ranks among the Top 3 of midsize cars. That alone makes it worth checking out. Toyota has been teasing a return of the legendary Supra line for several years. A grand reveal at the Geneva Motor Show showed the similarly inspired GR Supra Racing Concept, but there’s been little information about the commercially available Supra. We’ve gathered everything we know about this upcoming vehicle to get you in the loop.

Co-Development

The Toyota Supra is being developed alongside BMW for a unique blend of Japanese and German engineering that promises to blow the competition out of the water. This co-development will give the Supra access to BMW’s stellar inline-6 engine that will give the Supra the racing performance that is generating so much buzz. The Supra is expected to come in at 335 horsepower and 332 pounds per feet of torque.

Reverse Design

The Geneva Motor Show grand reveal of the GR Supra Racing Concept may have seemed like a disappointment to fans anticipating a look at the street-ready Supra, but it actually gave us a close look at what to expect for the upcoming vehicle design. The head designers at Toyota are going in the opposite direction of many manufacturers for the Supra. Most race cars are based on street-appropriate vehicles, but Toyota is instead basing their street vehicle on their race car. This reversed process may help give the Supra the boost it needs to be a true competitor in the performance vehicle market, going up against brands like Porsche.

More information about the Supra will be coming the closer we get to the release date, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!

2018 Toyota RAV4

As one of the original crossover models, Toyota’s RAV4 has established a reputation as a rock-solid choice for smart drivers. Over more than two decades, the RAV4 has continually evolved to give drivers everything they want in a compact SUV – and the 2018 version is no exception. Peruzzi Toyota can show you up close, but here’s a look at what’s new.

First off, the Toyota RAV4 earns high marks for its spacious and well-designed cabin. Interior features are intuitive and straightforward, making everyday driving a breeze. For 2018, Toyota has made a suite of active safety items standard in all trims – including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking and high-beams.

The 2018 Toyota RAV4 gets high marks for its solid, stable handling. It’s also earned points for impressive crash safety.

Yet there are also very few crossovers in this class with the roomy cargo space featured in the RAV4. Whether you’re heading to the mountains for a weekend camping trip or making a run to the home improvement store, you’ll have all the space you need. And for 2018, the RAV4’s maximum towing capacity has been upped from 1,500 to 3,500 pounds. Drivers can expect reliable fuel economy as well – 23 mpg city/30 hwy.

Toyota’s continual drive to refine and improve the driving experience has kept the RAV4 a top choice. The 2018 model of this popular compact crossover is no exception. Subcompact crossovers are currently a hot segment in the auto market, but those looking for one that showed some spunk haven’t had a lot of choices. That is, until the Toyota C-HR, available now at Peruzzi Toyota.

Toyota’s C-HR is a thoroughly capable subcompact but includes some special features that make it a stylish standout. Perhaps the most distinctive is the faceted diamond appearance of the sheet metal. It’s a look you won’t see on most cars and gives the C-HR a truly sporty vibe. This exhilarating exterior is complemented by nimble handling that makes it ride like a much larger vehicle. You’ll also have a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 144 HP and gets 27/31 mpg.

The interior of the Toyota C-HR has been given a sleek, modern design and features an available 19 cubic feet of cargo space. There’s also a notable lineup of standard goodies: Bluetooth, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, 7-inch touchscreen and more. Add to that an array of safety features like rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning and you get exceptional value.

Speaking of safety, the Toyota C-HR earned a perfect five-star rating for overall crash protection from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

The Toyota Corolla is the best-selling model in automotive history (40 million worldwide and counting). Its sturdy, no-nonsense design has long been a draw for those wanting a reliable car – just not a lot of it. But just because a vehicle is reliable, it doesn’t have to be plain. The 2019 Corolla Hatchback has gotten a significant makeover that will make the daily commute a lot more fun. And you can see it all for yourself at Peruzzi Toyota this fall.

For starters, the new Hatchback is built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture modular platform, designed to make the car stronger, easier to handle and more fuel-efficient. The hood of the car sits a little lower than earlier models which gives it a sleek, sporty look.  And continuing that sporty theme, a newly-designed six-speed manual transmission makes for driving excitement. Toyota has included Intelligent mode on the transmission: push a button, and you get a little help to shift more smoothly and prevent stalls.

The interior of the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback has been reimagined to feel more spacious; the rear seats fold down to provide 18 cubic feet of cargo space. There’s a nice mix of soft touch features as well as leather appointments on the steering wheel and shift knob. The dashboard offers intuitive access to Toyota’s Entune infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa integration, and more fun features.

You’ll feel even more secure thanks to Toyota’s Safety Sense features which come standard.  They include automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, lane departure warning and more. There’s even a cool camera-based Road Sign Assist feature that projects important signs (including speed limit) onto your dashboard.

For drivers who want one of the most reliable vehicles on the road – but still want to kick things up a notch, the upcoming 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback is worth a look. Stop in to Peruzzi Toyota to experience it for yourself. If you’re looking for a different Toyota vehicle, take a look at Peruzzi Toyota’s huge selection of over 280 new Toyota vehicles available for residents of Allentown, PA, Bethlehem, PA and the surrounding areas. If you’re looking for a used car, take a look at Peruzzi’s collection of over 500 pre-owned vehicles from every major manufacturer including certified pre-owned Toyotas. With over 43 million sold, the Toyota Corolla is the world’s top-selling car of all time, and with good reason. In 2018, the Corolla is back again packed with more features than ever, but one asset that stands out is its safety. When you add up all the amenities, the Corolla is the epitome of safety, earning a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic. Here’s a look at all it has to offer in 2018.

Pre-Collision System With Pedestrian Detection

Even with due diligence, it’s not always easy to keep your eyes on the road. Children, your phone, and the radio are all distractions that can derail your trip and put your well-being in jeopardy. That’s what makes the Corolla’s pre-collision system with pedestrian detection a godsend. Using a camera and radar, it can detect objects in your way, apply the brakes as necessary, and enable steering assist to let you maneuver manually.

Automatic High Beams

Driving at night is always a bit more stressful than driving during the day, especially in rural or unfamiliar areas. Thanks to the Corolla’s automatic high beams, you can see more clearly without blinding oncoming motorists. Automatic high beams use a camera to detect the headlights and taillights of other vehicles, switching between high-beam and low-beam lights for maximum vision without distressing other drivers.

Thanks to a mix of passive, active, and driver-assist safety specs, Toyota’s flagship compact keeps you safe wherever you’re headed.

Slotted between the sizable Toyota Highlander crossover and the gargantuan Toyota Sequoia, the 4Runner is a versatile and spacious option in the crowded SUV market. Perfect for adventurers or families, the 4Runner’s interior has compartments and extra space to store just about anything. If space is at a premium in your current vehicle, here are a few reasons to upsize to the 4Runner.

Passenger Capacity

With the standard two-row configuration, the 2018 Toyota 4Runner comfortably seats up to five passengers while offering over 38 inches of headroom and 32 inches of legroom. For more passenger room, opt for the available third-row seats, giving you space for up to seven, while still supplying 34 inches of headroom and 29 inches of legroom.

Cargo Capacity

If you’re worried about sacrificing cargo space for passenger capacity, the 4Runner should put your mind at ease. Both the second-row and third-row seats fold flat, giving you a total cargo capacity of 89.7 cubic feet. With five passengers, the 4Runner still gets 47.2 cubic feet of space, while a full ride offers 9 cubic feet behind the seven passengers.

Endless Configurations

Another perk of the 4Runner is that it has several configurations that are ideal for maximizing cargo space. The second row folds with a 40/20/40 split, while the rear seat goes down 50/50. The second-row seat also has a slide function for easier access, while the third row folds at the touch of a button.

With tons of cargo space, passenger room, and configurations to accommodate various shapes and sizes, you can store more than ever in the 2018 Toyota 4Runner.
