As for high-tech features, the C-HR comes with Bluetooth connectivity, an 8-inch touch screen with the Toyota Touch multimedia system, and digital audio broadcast capabilities. 31276588992_6e614e70ca_bIf you’re looking to buy a car that’s a good investment, consider purchasing a Toyota vehicle. Toyota offers hybrid vehicles and a generous warranty. When it comes time to sell your Toyota and get a new one, you’ll appreciate the high resale value that many Toyota vehicles have. Here’s a list of three reasons a new Toyota is a smart investment.

You’ll Save Money at the Pump

Toyota has a robust offering of hybrid vehicles. As Toyota’s best-known hybrid, the Prius gets up to 58 mpg with city driving. Though the EPA-approved fuel economy rating varies slightly between trims, all Prius trims achieve 50 mpg or higher. If the Prius isn’t right for you, check out the Avalon sedan or Highlander crossover with a hybrid powertrain. Toyota makes it easy to save money on fuel with its multiple hybrid vehicles.

You’ll Get More Money When You Sell

When considering whether a vehicle is a good investment, look at its potential resale value. For 2016, Kelley Blue Book gave the Toyota Tacoma and the Toyota 4Runner first and second place respectively for best resale value. In addition to the Tacoma and 4Runner, the Toyota Tundra also made the list of vehicle expected to retain their value over time.

You’ll Have Warranty Protection

Before buying a new vehicle, check out the automaker’s warranty. Toyota has a generous three-year/36,000-mile warranty that ensures the vehicle you buy works properly. Think of the warranty as protection for your investment.

Spend your money wisely by purchasing a new Toyota. You’ll enjoy better fuel efficiency, higher resale value, and the assurance of a strong warranty.

5172482581_2627b1f3d5_b (2)When it comes to Toyota’s fuel efficient vehicles, the Prius lineup gets most of the attention. In reality, Toyota offers several hybrid vehicles in a bid to win over consumers who care about fuel economy. If you’re unfamiliar with the automaker’s array of hybrid vehicles, take a look at two impressive Toyota hybrids that aren’t a Prius.

2017 Avalon Hybrid

Toyota offers the 2017 Avalon, an upscale sedan, as a hybrid. Browse the three hybrid trims to determine which one best suits your lifestyle. Regardless of which one you choose, you’ll enjoy an average of 40 mpg, according to EPA estimates. Because the Avalon is a luxury vehicle, its interior is plush and comfortable. With generous legroom in the back seat, a smooth ride, and quiet cabin, the Avalon is ready to for your next road trip.

2017 Highlander Hybrid

It’s not often you find a crossover with a hybrid powertrain. That’s one reason the 2017 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is noteworthy. Equipped with four-wheel drive, the Highlander gets up to 30 mpg on city streets, making it a go-to vehicle for anyone who drives often in stop-and-go traffic. In addition to its excellent fuel economy, the Highlander has five USB ports and an available entertainment system with Blu-ray Disc playback for the rear seats. In addition, the Highlander offers plenty of cargo space and an optional panoramic moon roof to make the cabin feel more open.

7221345766_304e77a140_bLocated about 33 miles outside of Philadelphia, Hatfield, Pennsylvania, is a community with a rich history. It was in 1898 that Hatfield, at the time covering 176 acres, was incorporated as a borough. If you’re unfamiliar with Hatfield’s past, browse these three fun facts about its history.

Hatfield Started With Oil Lamps

In its earliest days, the council governing the Hatfield voted to buy 17 oil lamps and place them along the streets. One of the earliest borough employees was Daniel Gehman. His primary job was to keep the oil lamps clean and light them every evening. For his trouble, Daniel received 14.5 cents for each hour of work. The lamps proved popular, and by early 1903, the council purchased more, bringing the total number of oil street lamps to 25. Eventually, electric street lights replaced the oil lamps.

Meatpacking Is Big Business

Before it became a borough, Hatfield was home to the Hatfield Township Packing Company, which was established in 1885. The site the packing company occupied became home to Hatfield Quality Meats when the Clemens family purchased the facility in 1946.

An Alligator Called Hatfield Home

In 1992, the Hatfield council considered banning exotic pets. The event that precipitated the proposal had to do with an alligator. Apparently, a resident’s pet gator was tied to a tree and got loose. Law enforcement found the predator in a stream. Ultimately, the council took no action on the proposed ban.

These are just a few interesting facts from Hatfield’s past. You can learn more interesting stories by visiting the Hatfield Museum and History Society.

Let’s say you need to get your Toyota repaired. You have two options: take it to an independent shop or the dealership’s service department. One of the main differences between the two is the type of car parts you’ll receive. There are aftermarket car parts, made by third parties, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts.

Here are some of the advantages to getting OEM parts for your Toyota.

They are higher quality

Aftermarket parts are often cheaper than factory ones, but that comes with a cost: lower quality. You don’t want to be stuck with inferior parts. Stick to brands you know and trust, like Toyota, and get some extra peace of mind.

They have superior body panels

Going along with that, service departments at Toyota dealerships offer better made body panels. Aftermarket ones aren’t always a good fit for your car or, even worse, lack a crumple zone that’s very important for crashes.

They’re easier to shop for

If you’re looking for a specific part, opting for OEM ones will give you just one or two options. When it comes to aftermarket parts, however, there’s a large variety, so shopping for them quickly becomes complicated, comparing prices, materials and more. Save yourself a headache and don’t go off brand.

Aftermarket parts can cause you to lose your security deposit

Anyone leasing a car should be wary of aftermarket parts. They can lower your vehicle’s value, which in turn can cost you part or all of your security deposit.

So, the next time your Toyota needs repairs, bring it to Peruzzi Toyota’s service department. We’ll give your vehicle the quality parts it needs. And if you’re in a rush and just need maintenance, Peruzzi Toyota offers Express Maintenance, so you and your vehicle can be in and out in 60 minutes. Make your appointment today.

Exterior

With a large grille and 18-inch alloy wheels, the new Camry is sure to please all car lovers. Plus, thanks to high-power LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights, you can see clearly any time of day.

Previously we discussed exterior accessories for your Toyota 4Runner. Now, here are some accessories for your interior to help you keep it clean and organized.

1. Floor mats

Keep mud and gravel off your floors with these mats. Choose from carpet mats and all-weather, water-resistant ones. Both types have fasteners to stop them from sliding and are easy to clean.

2. Remote engine starter

Commuters know too well how low winter temperatures can get in the morning. A remote engine starter heats up your car without requiring you go outside. Just hit the button inside your house, relax for a few minutes and then step into a pre-warmed vehicle. Alternatively, in the summer, you can start the air conditioning before heading out.

3. Cargo net

Keep your gear secure in the trunk with nylon webbing. Choose from two styles: the envelope, a vertical set up, or the spider, which horizontally goes on top of your equipment. Both are durable, easy to store and can expand to hold larger objects in place.

4. Cargo Divider

Load large gear easily with this sliding trunk floor. Thanks to its design, items can slide fluidly along it. Plus, the divider’s strong hinges mean it can hold up heavy equipment.

5. Universal tablet holder

Whether you own a tablet or another electronic device, this accessory can secure your device on the back of a seat. Passengers can easily adjust it to their preferences.

These and other accessories are available to get you the most out of your Toyota 4Runner. And if you’re trying to find a 4Runner at an affordable price, look no further than Peruzzi Toyota.
