Hatfield Township has announced its schedule for fall leaf and branch cleanup in the community. The dates for the township-wide cleanup are:

Leaf Cleanup

Weeks of November 2, November 16, and November 30, 2015

All leaves must be bagged in biodegradable brown bags and placed at the curb on the Monday of each week of pick up by 6:00am. Brown bags are available at the Hatfield Township Municipal Building. You can get four leaf bags for a $1. Bags can also be purchased at the local grocery and home improvement stores.

Branch Cleanup

Tree branches will be collected the week of November 9, 2015.

All tree branches must be bundled and secured with a rope. Place branches at the curb by 6am Monday morning of the pickup week. Branch sizes must not exceed 6 feet in length and 2 feet in diameter. Only two bundles per household will be collected. Tree branches can also be taken to the Public Works Building from 8am to 12pm on the third Saturday of each month, with a two trip limit per household each Saturday.

Keep in mind the haulers will only visit a street one time during the collection week so materials must be out by 6am each Monday morning. More information about Hatfield Township cleanup can be found at http://www.hatfieldtownship.org/.
